Four men were killed and one was injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a Punjab Roadways bus on the Hoshiarpur–Dasuya road on January 10, 2026 morning. Police said poor visibility from dense fog caused the accident. The deceased were identified as Sukhwinder, Sushil Kumar, Brij Kumar and Arun Kumar, residents of Chalet village in Himachal Pradesh. The injured, Amit Kumar from the same village, was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Hoshiarpur.
