The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has sharply criticized the coalition government for its handling of agricultural issues and governance failures. During a press conference, YSRCP leaders accused the government of misleading the public and pushing farmers into distress due to withdrawn subsidies and collapsing crop prices. They specifically targeted Labour Minister Vasamshetty Subhash for his comments on caste certificates, claiming he spread misinformation. The party pointed out that the implementation of G.O. No. 16, which affects the Setti Balija community, was only enforced recently, leading to confusion. Additionally, YSRCP general secretary Gadikota Srikanth Reddy condemned the NDA government for its detrimental impact on agriculture, citing a significant drop in kharif cultivation and the dismantling of support systems like Rythu Bharosa Kendras. The party warned of deteriorating law and order under the current administration.
