Wipro Ltd. has entered a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Foundation for Science Innovation and Development to foster innovation in frontier technologies. The collaboration will focus on advanced research in agentic AI, embodied AI, quantum AI, and quantum-safe solutions. A joint research program will be established, bringing together IISc's faculty and researchers with Wipro's engineers and technologists. This partnership aims to enhance Wipro's capabilities in delivering AI-powered solutions across sectors like telecom, manufacturing, financial services, and healthcare. Wipro's CTO emphasized the importance of combining academic strengths with industry experience to address complex challenges. The partnership will also support IISc in expanding its research capacity and facilitating technology transfer.
