Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin laid the foundation for a modern library called Mudhalvar Padaippagam in the Harbour constituency, funded at ₹23.06 crore. He also opened a power substation costing ₹18.24 crore and checked on water tank constructions worth ₹27 crore in the same area. These works are all under the State government’s North Chennai Development Plan, aiming to improve local infrastructure and facilities.
