The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) carried out a one-day intra-State special operation across Telangana on January 8, arresting 34 suspects, including 24 repeat offenders in child sexual exploitative and abusive material (CSEAM) cases and 10 mule bank account holders linked to cyber frauds. TGCSB’s Child Protection Unit rescued a four-year-old girl after identifying content suspected to have been locally produced and arresting 24-year-old Kandhada Srikanth, who was remanded to judicial custody. Police said the child’s parents were unaware of the abuse until the investigation led to the offender. TGCSB reported large increases in CSEAM tipline reports processed, FIRs registered, and arrests in 2025 compared with 2023 and 2024.
