During the T.N. Rising Summit held in Madurai, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted the state's commitment to balanced development by announcing 91 MoUs that will attract ₹36,660 crore in investments. Over the past four years, the state has secured ₹11.38 lakh crore in investments, creating 34 lakh jobs. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of infrastructure and stability in attracting investors. Key projects include the PM MITRA Integrated Textile Park in Virudhunagar, expected to generate nearly one lakh jobs, and various industrial parks across the region. The summit also saw the release of the Madurai Master Plan 2044, aimed at accommodating a projected population of 42 lakh. The initiatives reflect the government's strategy to enhance industrial growth and job creation in Tamil Nadu's southern districts.
