In a significant move to enhance AI accessibility, Reliance Industries has teamed up with Google to offer free access to premium AI tools for Jio users. Eligible customers will receive an 18-month subscription to Google's AI Pro plan, which includes advanced features such as the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, AI image and video generation tools, and 2 TB of cloud storage. The initiative is set to begin with Jio users aged 18 to 25 on unlimited 5G plans, with plans for a nationwide rollout in phases. This partnership not only aims to make AI tools available to individual users but also includes collaboration with Google Cloud to provide organizations with advanced AI hardware. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, emphasized the goal of making AI services accessible to all Indians, while Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, highlighted the long-standing partnership aimed at advancing India's digital future.
