The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate's 2025 annual report revealed an increase in overall crime by 15.4%, from 28,626 cases in 2024 to 33,040 in 2025. This increase was primarily due to bodily offences rising to 27,342 cases and kidnappings increasing to 579. Cybercrime cases decreased by 19%, totaling 3,734, with ₹40.10 crore refunded to victims. Crimes against women saw a 4% rise, but serious crimes like rape, dowry murders, and abetment to suicide declined. Road accidents rose 8.8%, with fatalities stable despite higher deaths and injuries, notably on the Outer Ring Road. Policing focused on visible presence, quick response, and technology, achieving a 78% case disposal rate, 144 contested case convictions, major narcotics seizures, and dismantling of trafficking networks.
