Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the annual police conference in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, from November 28 to 30. This event, organized by the Intelligence Bureau, will focus on significant internal security challenges, including left-wing extremism, counter-terrorism, disaster management, women's safety, and the integration of forensic science and artificial intelligence in policing. The conference aims to create a roadmap for a 'Surakshit Bharat' or safe India, aligning with the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' or developed India. Senior police officials will have the opportunity to discuss various security issues directly with the Prime Minister. The conference will also feature the presentation of the President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service.
