Manchester United has reported record financial revenue of £666.5m for the year ending June 30, 2025, despite a disappointing 15th place finish in the Premier League. The club's commercial revenue surged to £333.3m, bolstered by a new five-year sponsorship deal with Snapdragon. Matchday revenue also hit a record high of £160.3m. Although the club posted an overall loss of £33m, this represents a significant reduction from the previous year's loss of £113.2m. The number of employees has decreased from 1,100 to 700 due to cost-cutting measures, which have drawn criticism. Manchester United's long-term debt remains at $650m, with rising transfer fees adding to financial pressures. Despite these challenges, the club projects a turnover of £640m to £660m for the upcoming year, aiming to leverage financial improvements to enhance on-field success.
