The Bench granted the interim stay until February 11, 2026, and issued notices to the Inspector General of Registration, the Registrar of Societies (Chennai district), and other officials seeking responses to the writ appeal. The appellant’s counsel said the single judge issued sweeping directions unconnected to the society’s writ petition concerning its election.
