The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) is set to hold its ninth convocation on November 8, 2025, with Judge Dinesh Maheshwari, Chairperson of the Law Commission of India, delivering the address. The event will honor 628 graduates, including 27 gold medalists, with Siva Sahithi Somishetty receiving the A.M. Pathan Gold Medal. The university has recently received substantial grants totaling ₹201.86 crore from the Ministry of Education for infrastructure development, which includes new academic blocks and hostels. Additionally, CUK has introduced a five-year Integrated B.A. LL.B. program and plans to launch new courses in Statistics and Data Analytics and Library and Information Sciences. The university's ranking in the NIRF 2025 reflects its growing academic stature.
