The Lebanese Ministry of Health said an Israeli strike on a car in Bint Jbeil city in south Lebanon killed one citizen. The Israeli army said it struck a Hezbollah member in the Bint Jbeil area and said the strike was in response to Hezbollah violations of ceasefire understandings. Lebanon’s National News Agency reported more than 10 Israeli raids on Kfar Hatta north of the Litani River that caused significant damage to buildings. Israel has kept troops in five areas in south Lebanon it has classed as necessary to its security, and Israeli attacks have killed more than 300 people in Lebanon since a 2024 truce was signed.
