During a Sunday service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan, a gunman drove into the church and opened fire, killing at least one person and injuring nine others. The attack occurred in a town approximately 60 miles northwest of Detroit, where hundreds were in attendance. The suspect, a 40-year-old male, also set part of the church on fire before being shot dead by police.
