A What happened
The Director General of Telangana Police, B. Shivadhar Reddy, laid the foundation stone for the City Training Centre (CTC) in Medipally on November 10, 2025. This centre will focus on specialized training for police personnel, particularly in handling technology-related crimes. Alongside this, he inaugurated the Bharosa and Command Control Centres in Saroor Nagar, which aim to provide legal support and protection for women facing distress. The DGP highlighted the need for improved road safety measures and announced an upcoming awareness program titled ‘Arrive, Alive’ to promote responsible driving. He acknowledged the support from Divis Laboratories under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for the construction of the CTC and the establishment of the Young India Police School for children of police personnel. The event was attended by various senior officers and representatives from the Cyber Security Council.
