Amazon has announced the resumption of its drone delivery service in Arizona, starting Friday, after a crash incident that occurred earlier in the week. The crash involved two of Amazon's Prime Air delivery drones colliding with a crane in Tolleson, Arizona, leading to their descent to the ground. Following the incident, Amazon temporarily halted operations in the West Valley of Phoenix, its only commercial market for drone deliveries. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are currently investigating the crash. Amazon has stated that safety remains its top priority and has implemented additional measures, such as enhanced visual inspections, to prevent future incidents. The company has faced multiple challenges in its drone delivery program, including previous crashes and executive departures, but continues to pursue its goal of delivering 500 million packages annually by the end of the decade.
