Air India and Maldivian have established a bilateral interline partnership to enhance air connectivity between India and the Maldives. This agreement allows passengers to book a single ticket for travel across both airlines, streamlining flight schedules and baggage handling. Air India passengers can access 16 domestic destinations in the Maldives through Maldivian’s network, while Maldivian passengers can connect to Air India flights from major Indian cities. This partnership is expected to boost tourism and business travel between the two nations. Indian travelers can enter the Maldives without a pre-arranged visa, receiving a 30-day tourist visa on arrival, provided they meet basic entry requirements. The collaboration reflects a shared goal of improving regional cooperation and offering a more integrated travel experience.
