Nagalakshmi emphasized the importance of showcasing commitment to energy conservation and efficiency. Eligible participants include thermal power plants, cement units, pharmaceutical industries, engineering colleges, and hotels that meet specific energy consumption criteria. The awards aim to promote healthy competition and recognize organizations that excel in energy management and technology adoption, ultimately contributing to reduced carbon emissions.
