High-speed diesel ex-depot pricing was set at PKR 335.86 per litre for the coming week, up from PKR 280.86 per litre (about 20%). The increase was announced just before midnight by the petroleum minister, deputy prime minister/foreign minister, and finance minister. Officials stated Pakistan has sufficient petroleum reserves.
