India Supreme Court orders CBI probe into alleged irregularities in DLF’s The Primus Garden City housing project

On February 25, the Supreme Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation to conduct an independent probe into alleged irregularities surrounding DLF’s residential project “The Primus DLF Garden City” in Gurugram.
Why Now
The Supreme Court directed the CBI to investigate alleged irregularities related to DLF’s “The Primus DLF Garden City” project in Gurugram. The order was passed on February 25 by a bench comprising Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah and Justice R Mahadevan. The Court instructed the CBI to set up a dedicated team and to conduct an independent probe under the supervision of the CBI Director. It also directed all authorities to cooperate fully with the investigation. The case is captioned Swarnpreet Kaur & Anr. v. DLF Home Developers Ltd.
