Brewdog went into administration and, on Monday, parts of the brewer and pub chain were bought by beverage and cannabis firm Tilray for £33m. Brewdog then announced the closure of dozens of bars that were not included in the rescue deal. The company made 484 staff redundant. Unite said staff were given 25 minutes’ notice of a 15-minute conference call where cameras were off and there was no chance to ask questions. Unite also said staff were told they would receive forms to apply for pay through the Insolvency Service.
