European Commission sets provisional application of EU–UK Gibraltar Agreement's Euratom provisions from 15 July 2026
The EU–UK Gibraltar Agreement's Euratom civil-nuclear cooperation provisions will apply provisionally from 15 July 2026
- — From 15 July 2026, civil-nuclear cooperation between the EU/Euratom and the United Kingdom in respect of Gibraltar is governed provisionally by the Agreement's Euratom provisions — Euratom and UK competent authorities are to conduct cooperation on matters within the Euratom Treaty within the Agreement's framework from that date, subject to reciprocity, pending its entry into force.
