On 25 May 2026, MNRE decided that ALMM List-II for solar PV cells will apply from 1 June 2026 without a blanket deadline extension.
Why it matters
The decision removes blanket deadline relief for projects commissioned after 1 June 2026. Renewable power project developers can seek only project-wise extensions by submitting documentary proof of completed or advanced implementation steps through the NISE portal by 30 June 2026.
