TRAI amends digital-connectivity rating rules for properties
Property digital-connectivity ratings must use TRAI’s amended assessment framework
- — Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies must use the amended nine-level rating scale when issuing property ratings — ratings can no longer rely only on the earlier five-level scale.
- — Property managers applying for digital-connectivity ratings must align applications with the revised assessment framework — property type, construction status and pre-rating assessment now affect the rating workflow.
- — Telecom infrastructure and building-planning teams must update digital-connectivity readiness checks for existing and under-construction properties — the amended framework is intended to support formal rating applications and future-ready connectivity infrastructure.
