Preliminary ad valorem duties were set at 126% for solar-module imports from India. Initial duties were set between 86% and 143% for Indonesia and at 81% for Laos. The duty rates follow a determination that foreign subsidies allowed exporters from those countries to undercut US domestic solar producers. A final determination on the subsidy investigation is scheduled for July 6. A concurrent antidumping duty probe covers solar cells imported from India, Indonesia and Laos.
