Starlink, the satellite broadband service from Elon Musk's SpaceX, has commenced its initial hiring phase in India, focusing on finance and accounting roles based in Bengaluru. This recruitment drive is a crucial step towards establishing its presence in the Indian satellite broadband market, with plans for a commercial launch anticipated by late 2025 or early 2026. The company is currently working to comply with India's satellite communication regulations and is conducting necessary security demonstrations for governmental approval. Starlink aims to set up nine gateway stations across major cities in India and has already established three ground stations in Mumbai.
