On November 14, 2025, SRM University-A.P. inaugurated the Biomedical Research and Artificial Intelligence Network (BRAIN) Lab. This facility aims to enhance public healthcare and biomedical engineering. It includes three specialized units: Biomechanics, Biosignals, and a Computational facility, all equipped with advanced technology. The lab will support early detection and treatment of conditions like Parkinson's disease. It has established collaborations for clinical trials and research on various biomedical challenges. Notable patrons include RMIT University and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The lab is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in addressing real-world healthcare issues.
