Metropolitan Police resume arrests of Palestine Action supporters
Change

Why it matters
Because Palestine Action's proscription remains in force pending a Home Office appeal, the Met says it must enforce the law and will again make arrests for support of the group. This makes public expression of support subject to criminal enforcement and increases the immediate risk of arrest for protesters and affiliates.

- · Police will enforce the existing proscription despite a High Court finding against it, prolonging enforcement actions while the appeal
Who is affected
- · Protesters and activists
