India tightens All-India tourist vehicle permit rules

India’s road transport ministry amended the All India Tourist Vehicles (Permit) Rules to cap out-of-home-state operation at 60 days (from 90) and require continuous tracking and toll-dues clearance, effective April 1, 2026.
