He emphasized that such delays would not be tolerated and instructed officials to take strict action against those responsible. During a meeting in Govindaraja Nagar, workers expressed concerns about technical errors in their appointment orders, including incorrect personal details. The West Corporation Commissioner, K.V. Rajendra, promised to organize a special camp to rectify these issues. Workers also reported being forced into illegal waste segregation, facing threats of removal for non-compliance. Mr. Rajendra assured that supervisors involved in such practices would be warned. Furthermore, the need for adequate protection for civic workers against public abuse was stressed, as some have faced physical and verbal assaults while performing their duties.
