On November 15, 2025, the Cyient Foundation and SIDBI Swavalamban Foundation launched an AI and Future Skills Centre of Excellence at the Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre in Dimapur. The initiative aims to enhance employability and digital skills among local youth in India's North-East region. The facility will offer AI-integrated skilling programs across various domains, including handloom, handicraft, software coding, and robotics.
