On November 24, 2025, Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu launched the ‘Raitanna Meekosam’ program in Ghantasala village. This initiative is designed to bolster the agricultural sector through a five-principle strategy. Key focuses include ensuring water security, implementing demand-driven crop planning, and promoting modern agricultural technologies. The program also aims to expand food processing and provide consistent government support to farmers. Workshops will follow the launch to train farmers in advanced practices and financial preparedness. Atchannaidu highlighted the importance of water management and encouraged the adoption of crops like ragi and jowar. He also called for increased food processing units to enhance farmer earnings.
