The Airports Authority of India (AAI) plans to launch an online system for real-time monitoring of its projects, which is expected to be operational in the coming weeks. This system will leverage CCTV footage and drone visuals to track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timely completion. AAI is currently managing around 25 projects at various airports, with capital expenditures ranging from Rs 200 crore to Rs 500 crore. The authority is projected to incur over Rs 6,400 crore in capital expenditure from January 2024 to March 2025. AAI oversees 137 airports, including international and domestic facilities, and has invested significantly in airport development and modernization through public-private partnerships.
