During the CMA Global Conference 2025, Justice Ujjal Bhuyan stressed the need for responsible AI use in healthcare. He pointed out that while AI can enhance medical services and efficiency, it also poses risks that must be managed carefully. The conference, held in Hyderabad, was organized by the Indian Medical Association and featured a diverse group of experts discussing AI's role in transforming healthcare. J.A. Jayalal, the CMA president, noted that many doctors have already received training in AI applications. The event also recognized 750 doctors who completed the Commonwealth AI and Digital Health course, showcasing a commitment to integrating technology in medical practice.
