NPCI circular NPCI/2026-27/PD/001 dated 7 May 2026 requires all member institutions to complete self-attestation of compliance with NPCI guidelines on the PCOMP portal by 31 August 2026, with penal consequences for non-adherence.
Why it matters
Members must attest compliance against all directives assigned to them on PCOMP by 31 August 2026. Directives under the 'General' tab carry individual portal-specified deadlines that may fall earlier. Non-completion exposes members to enforcement action by NPCI's Surveillance and Enforcement Team under the prior circulars referenced in the notice (NPCI/2022-23/OC/PD/001 and NPCI/2023-24/PD/005). The FY 2026-27 directives are already updated on the PCOMP portal.
