The EU amended its Syria restrictive-measures list by deleting seven entity entries and updating 11 natural-person entries in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 36/2012.
Why it matters
The regulation changes the live EU Syria sanctions list after a Council review. Sanctions-screening teams must remove the deleted entity entries and update the amended person records before applying EU Syria restrictive-measures screening from the regulation’s entry into force.
